In Memory Of Wendy Scalinger
Join us for a fun and sociable tournament to kick-start the first Grand Slam of the year. Bring the spirit of the Australian sunshine with you and enjoy fantastic tennis, great company, and a lively atmosphere.
Australian green and gold, cork hats, and AO-style neon are all encouraged (but not essential!) for our Doubles Down Under event. There will be prizes to be won, and the bar will be open into the evening — or the very early hours in Australia!
Entry is a £10 donation (or more if you would like) with all profits from this event donated to the Princess Alice Hospice.
This social event is held in memory of Wendy Scalinger, a proud and much-loved member of SLT&SC (1976 - 2024). Wendy won multiple club singles and doubles titles, regularly represented Nottinghamshire at county level, and proudly played for England in the Four Nations Senior tournaments.
Join us in celebrating Wendy’s legacy while enjoying a great day of tennis, or some social drinks at the bar.
