Floodlights Application

Our planning application for floodlighting courts 4 & 5 is now lodged with Richmond Borough Council, This is the culmination of 18 months of careful preparation and hard work.

Planning Application

More floodlights have been an ambition of the club for several years and were overwhelmingly approved by members at the club’s AGM in 2018. They will allow members who work during the day, and youngsters at school and college, to play in the autumn and winter evenings.  We know there is demand from both current members and also many potential members who have told us they would join SLTSC if they could play in the evenings.  Floodlighting will give them that opportunity.

It will also allow Paul Boffa and our coaching team to extend the excellent and hugely popular junior tennis programme in the winter months.
