Adult Tennis Coaching

As spring is now upon us, its time to improve your game for the summer season! Our next set of adult courses start up from today, so have a look and book now!

 

We are now including our new Strength & Conditioning classes as part of our regular program. We have a Tuesday evening session and a 45 minute Monday lunch time session.

 

Places are limited, so have a look at the sessions below and book now!

 

EASTER CARDIO ONE OFF SESSION

29th March, 11.00 am

Join in on Friday 29th March for this drop in cardio session. Fast paced tennis drills to music will have you burning off those calories so you can enjoy some guilt free chocolate over Easter!


DOUBLES TACTICS & POSITIONING

Saturdays 1.00 - 2.00 PM 20th, 27th Apr, 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th May

Learn the Basics of doubles play. These sessions will work on tactical play around court positioning and movement. This will be supported with technical coaching to implement the tactic.


DRILLS & SKILLS

Mondays 7.30 - 8.30 PM 15th, 22nd, 29th Apr, 6th, 13th, & 20th May

This is a group session like no other! We concentrate on one element of the game and work on the progressions around it. It’s high intensity with lots of repetition. Suitable for all levels of play. 


LADIES COACHING

Tuesdays 11.00 AM - 12.00 PM 16th, 23rd, 30th Apr, 7th, 14th & 21st May

This group is open to ladies who are already playing and wish to improve their doubles play. We will work with tactics and techniques for you to put into your social play, mix-ins or club matches. Suitable for those in the lower teams or looking to play team level tennis. (speak to a coach if you are unsure).


TENNIS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Mondays 12.00 - 12.45 PM  22nd, 29th Apr, 6th, 13th, & 20th May

Tuesdays 7.00 - 8.00 PM  23rd, 30th Apr, 7th, 14th & 21st May

This tennis specific strength and conditioning session is run by a qualified personal trainer, who also plays tennis. The session will take place on a tennis court, and will have specific drills and exercises for strength, agility and balance. You will improve your strength and movement, and reduce the risk of injury - keeping you on court for longer, all leading to you becoming a better tennis player!

If you want more information on this course and if it is suitable for you (it is!) then please ask!

(These courses need a mininmum of 8 to run)

CARDIO TENNIS

Fridays 11.00 AM - 12.00 PM 19th, 26th Apr, 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th May

A fitness class on a tennis court. Improve your fitness through fast paced tennis drills to (great??) music. Suitable for all standards. 


 

Questions???

  • If lessons are cancelled due to bad weather we will put on a make up lesson.
  • If you cannot make a lesson, there will be no refund but you can attend another course lesson if available and suitable, or you can send a replacement player in your place.
  • If there are not 4 players signed up for the course by the start date, the course will be cancelled. Players signed up will be notified and refunded.
